The 2009 MFT resurfacing project is continuing close to schedule. The underground work on storm water and sanitary structures is complete on all streets except Overlook, which should be done by June 25th. That work is being done by Maneval Construction. Globe Concrete is scheduled back on Monday, June 29th to complete the concrete gaps on various streets. Schroeder Asphalt is scheduled to be back after the 4th of July to continue it's milling and resurfacing of the remaining streets. They have already completed milling and installed binder lift on Dorothy, Janet and Phillips. These three streets also had new high flow structures installed (top left photo) to help alleviate some of the storm water problems.

Construction Update

The contractor began work on Wednesday, June 3rd. You may see numerous different crews throughout Glenview working on different items. The main contractor is doing road patches. Two sub-contractors are working on curb removal and storm and sanitary repairs.

All crews have signs on either side of their work area, so please be careful as you come upon a crew. On the busy streets, flaggers are present to assist you on your drive. Barricades have been placed in the areas where curb was removed, but caution should still be taken.
